Trump like the asshole he is, is trying to "fix" mental illness in the most barbaric way possible... All because he thinks all people with mental illnesses are "violent sickos"... He doesn't even care if they don't commit crimes... He wants to lock them all up in mental institutions... Just because Nikolas Cruz had a mental illness and was a violent person, doesn't mean other people with mental illnesses are violent people, but he doesn't care. He refuses to call them people. He even basically said "they are barely people, they are all sickos! We need to get them out of our communities! We need a place to put sickos like this, even if they don't commit crimes... We need to re-open mental institutions"
The way people in the NRA and GOP are talking about people with mental illnesses is disgusting... They are being labeled "Crazy" people and "sickos" by people in the NRA and GOP. It's totally untrue... Most people with mental illnesses don't even hurt people yet we are being scapegoated for a crime we didn't do... He is calling us all future school shooters. First I see people who support GOP saying all gamers are future school shooters and now I see this....
We need PROPER treatment of mental illnesses, not being locked up into institutions where abuse runs rampant. Because that's what happened in mental institutions... The horrible abuse of people with schizophrenia and bipolar disorders is what got them shut down in the first place. Now he wants to re open them... This disgusts me.. I have a mental illness, Autism. I want to fight this but I cannot do it alone... I talked to my senator.. But that won't be enough...
I know gamers aren't too friendly with people with Autism, but I need your help... If you have any decency, get your representatives to oppose this now... It's bad... This does not need to happen... Get some REAL flack going against this if they (The GOP) Plan to actually implement this... It already has some flack now but it's limited to people in the medical community. We need policy makers saying his idea is terrible... We need THEM to oppose this! It would be a good idea to write your Rep before it's too late...
We can't let this happen... This is the worst thing he has ever done... Recommend abusive practises for people with mental illnesses... It's sick...
