Right after the Parkland School Shooting, this asshole reared his head. A Governor, from the State of Kentucky, started to whine about violent video games and called them "filth" and said they have no redeeming value... It pisses me off... So I am here to attack what he says with a vengeance...
No Redeeming Value? WTF!
I just spent 1/2 hour playing a Doom 4 inspired Mod for Doom 2. I found it to be challenging. Yes it was violent, yes I was killing people. But they were fighting back, and no one who looks at violent games from outside the gaming world (like Bevin and the like) realizes this. If they fight back, I can die in the game... I had to be careful and use strategy to survive... That's redeeming value... It's difficult to survive, so fuck you blowvin for saying that games have no redeeming value...
And fuck you for saying that people defending violent games are full of crap!
After a school shooting that had a shooter that had NO LINKS to video games, I find it disgusting that people like Bevin are whining about video game violence and saying that people who say there is no evidence are full of crap... It's stupid and he is a fascist asshole! Only 2 mass shootings even had a link to violent games you fuck, those are sandy hook, and columbine. In both of those, the shooters were gamers who played violent games. While other shooters played games, no others played ones where you kill people with guns.. Some played swordfighting games, others played nonviolent games... It's complete BS to say that there is a link because since 1997 there have been only 3-4 gamers that have killed out of 11,000,000! If there was a link between video game violence and real life violence than there would be a lot more shootings... But there isn't... Most of the mass shooters were not even gamers... Last one wasn't. One before that wasn't. One before that.. Before that as well.. In all of these shootings complete asshats like Blowvin blamed violent games.. Blowvin is being a fucking turd for blaming violent games for a shooting that had nothing to do with violent games. He is being a fucking retarded and shitheaded ambulance chaser, for even TRYING to say they cause violence... NO STUDY HAS PROVEN THEY CAUSE VIOLENCE, ONLY AGGRESSION! Millions of complete idiots have said they cause violence, but they are all misinterpreting crappy studies that prove aggression.. Hell even some studies use electroshock therapy on kids who play violent games to force a certain result. But the study authors who revealed this hid the evidence so no one could find out the truth...
I think this asshole needs to be impeached! He is trying to cause a moral panic and censorship of an art form because he doesn't like it! It's disgusting. That's right games are an art form. He even says freedom of speech is being abused to allow them to exist, which is complete bullshit. What freedom of speech is being abused for is allowing him to spew his bullshit without massive lawsuits from dozens of gaming companies happening.. Bet the stupid fuck has NRA connections too. Only they blame violent games for shootings these days because their fucking guns are the tools used to kill in 100% of them, including the parkland shooting... He needs to go. Apparenty Blowvin is blocking people on twitter who get pissed off and speak their mind against his stupid claims... One guy even said he was blocked for trying to defend violent games by talking to Blowvin... Guy is a complete asshole who won Governor in his state by only 400 votes!
